Install remote access tools

This guide explains how to set up an existing Windows laptop or desktop for Thrivelayer managment. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure IT can remotely manage and support the device.

Step 1 – Install Remote Assistance Tools

  1. In Edge, go to: helpdesk.thrivelayer.io

  2. Open the support article titled: Install remote access tools (this article).

  3. Follow the instructions there to download the required software.

Step 2 – Contact IT


Once installation is complete:


Provide the device name and facility location so IT can confirm remote access is working.
